MNAE programme

The programme "A New Beginning in Technical Schools" (M.N.A.E.) was piloted in the school year 2017-18 in 9 Vocational High Schools, utilizing experiences and practices already applied by the educational community in school units and, more specifically, in some Vocational High Schools. In other words, it is a programme born of the educational community of Vocational Education itself, which is why a large part of its spread process is based on the transmission of the experience of the teachers themselves.

Our school participates in that
programme from 2018-19 school year. It is co-financed by the NSRF and has secured funding for 4 years and includes the following actions:

Alternative remedial teaching for the first grade students of our school in Greek Language and Mathematics, co-taught by two teachers simultaneously in the classroom and within the school schedule, to enhance language and numerical literacy.
Staffing of Technical Schools with psychologists, aiming at the psychosocial support of students, but also in general the educational process, as well as to organize the networking of schools with supportive structures of psychosocial health of the area.
Activation of the institution of "Professor Counselor", which will contribute to better communication between students, but also in general to the improvement of the climate in the school community.
Creation of "Action Plans", funded, that promote innovation and creativity in schools and promote science, technology and culture.
Equip Technical Schools with teleconferencing infrastructure, to enable communication and collaboration between schools in joint actions.
Networking of schools through common communication platforms that allow communication between schools, but also with support structures in their area.
